Indian Social Club Oman to Celebrate India’s 79th Independence Day with Grandeur
Muscat, Oman – The Indian Social Club Oman proudly announces its 79th Independence Day celebrations, to be held on August 15, 2025, at the iconic Oman Auditorium-Al Bustan Palace Hotel. The event will be graced by His Excellency Shri G.V. Srinivas, Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman, who will attend as the Chief Guest, along with other distinguished dignitaries.
The event will begin at 7:00 PM, and doors will open at 6:30 PM.
Children below 12 years are not allowed, and entry will be strictly by invitation only.
The evening will commence with the prestigious “Indian of the Year” award ceremony, honouring Dr. Avirat Vaishnav for his exemplary service and significant contributions to the Indian community in Oman.
A soul-stirring medley of patriotic songs will follow, performed by ISC’s talented Open Mic singers, accompanied by a synchronized visual background performance—creating a truly immersive and emotional tribute to the motherland.
The celebration will further showcase a spectacular array of cultural dance performances presented by various linguistic wings, each representing the vibrant and diverse cultural heritage of India. The performances will embody the true spirit of “Unity in Diversity.”
